2013 – solo
Só20 looks like a lecture, a laboratory where the journey of choreographer Claudio Bernardo’s is reveling itself step by step: video archives, photographies, annotations found in his creation notebooks, excerpts from his solos revisited on stage are some of the traces of time to be deciphered, of questionnings to be shared.
What is a choreographer?
Inviting Kafka, Pasolini, Guilleragues, Rilke or close collaborators such as Stella de Mello, Claudio Bernardo tries to define himself in light of the ones who illuminated and guided his artistic work.
Eminently dynamic, Só20 is not fixed in time nor space, but shows memory at stake, memory as a research process in perpetual movement and renewal. A dive into the essential.
